Chalkboard Paintings - Custom
Many of you have seen my new Chalkboard Painting series at a show, and have asked if I could make one in a different size, with a certain amount of people, or different flowers, or no flowers at all. I can, and I've done "family portrait" paintings in my artistic style for decades.

There is NO CHALK used in my Chalkboard series!
These paintings are acrylic, oil and pencil, like my other work. I use these materials to make the canvas look like a chalkboard. Inspiration came from memories and nostalgia for childhood. I'd always wished the chalk in my schools came in VERY bright colors (it didn't back then) so I could "paint" in color on the chalkboard - hence, the bright flowers surrounding the figures, making movement in the painting.
My process is easy and clear and I have
three decades of clients who are very happy
with their commissioned pieces!
You'll receive a quote and a sketch for your approval before I start painting. I'll send a progress photo about halfway through, to be sure we are still on the same page, and you'll get a photo when it's finished.
