Chalkboard Paintings - Custom
Many of you saw my new Chalkboard Painting series this summer, and asked if I could make one in a different size, with a certain amount of people, or different flowers, or no flowers at all. I can! And now's the time to contact me if you're interested. I'll be doing commissioned work this year from late September - December, and I can only take on a certain amount of these projects.

There is NO CHALK used in my Chalkboard series!
These paintings are acrylic, oil and pencil, like my other work. I use these materials to make the canvas look like a chalkboard. Inspiration came from memories and nostalgia for childhood. I'd always wished the chalk in my schools came in VERY bright colors (it didn't back then) so I could "paint" in color on the chalkboard - hence, the bright flowers surrounding the figures, making movement in the painting.
My process is easy and clear and I have
three decades of clients who are very happy
with their commissioned pieces!
You'll receive a quote and a sketch for your approval before I start painting. I'll send a progress photo about halfway through, to be sure we are still on the same page, and you'll get a photo when it's finished.
